Florida, November 2023 - Mo Vaughn, Major League Baseball legend and founder of Vaughn Sports Academy (VSA), recently became one of Hannahtopia Foundation's sponsors supporting children with epilepsy. To mark the partnership, Mr. Vaughn made a generous donation to and visited Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital, where he met with some of the staff and young patients.

Mr. Vaughn has been a long-time advocate for children's health and wellness, using his platform as a professional athlete and baseball coach to bring attention to important causes. This new partnership with Hannahtopia Foundation is just another example of his dedication to making a positive impact in children's lives.

"I am honored to be able to support Hannahtopia Foundation and their work in helping children with epilepsy," said Mr. Vaughn. "The work they do is truly commendable, and I am thankful for the opportunity to contribute in any way I can."

Hannahtopia Foundation was founded by Heather Shuker and her daughter Hannah. After Hannah was diagnosed with epilepsy, Heather realized that there was very limited support for children with the same condition and their families.

Thus, Heather created the NillyNoggin, an EEG cap in lovely colors and designs. Aside from helping boost young patients' confidence, NillyNoggin Caps help secure EEG electrodes. The foundation also organizes fundraisers and provides Warrior Boxes that contain items to bring happiness to children as they undergo regular EEG exams.

As a Hannahtopia Foundation sponsor, Mo Vaughn donated a three-month supply of NillyNoggin EEG Caps to Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital, Florida's leading pediatric healthcare institution. His donation, totaling $10,500, also included Warrior Boxes.

On the 10th of November, Mr. Vaughn visited Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital. During the visit, he interacted with the young patients and presented them with their Warrior Boxes and NillyNoggins. He also took the time to share words of encouragement and positivity, inspiring the children to keep fighting.

Children with epilepsy often face many challenges. They undergo frequent EEG exams to monitor their brain activity as part of their treatment. These exams can be stressful and overwhelming for young patients, so the support of sponsors like Mr. Vaughn is crucial in bringing joy and comfort to these children.
